Scientific Advice

In many cases it is recommended that the applicant would seek the advice of the competent authorities on issues that are of special interest not clearly explained or covered by the current guidelines. The response of the competent authority to the scientific advice sought is important in affecting the dossier preparation and route of submission of the application. Following are the services provided:

• To review and discuss the project with the applicant with recommendation made.
• Prepare the documentation necessary for consideration by the authority and reason behind the request.
• To assist in articulating the questions which need to be answered by the authority ensuring clarity and direct answer to the question raised.
• Organising and participating in the meeting usually held with the authority to discuss the scientific advice sought and agree on an outcome.
